The Ash Leaves Stencil contains two feather-like leaves - great for creating up-to-the-minute botanical pattern motifs on a multitude of surfaces. Simple motifs work well either stencilled upright in blocks and columns, or as random repeats at different angles. This design looks beautiful stencilled onto both walls and fabric for drapes and other linens. For further variations combine with the Buckthorn Leaf Stencil, the Large Leaves Theme Pack or the Leaf Border.

Above - the Ash Leaves Stencil in Woodland and French Lavender Stencil Paints, stencilled on paint spattered squares and displayed in a framed room screen (see details below for the spattering technique).

Above - the Ash Leaves Stencil applied diagonally and repeated in regular rows, stencilled in Sweet Violet and Parsley Fabric Paints on taupe coloured cotton curtains.

   
Above - the two leaf motifs in the Ash Leaves Stencil are stencilled here in Grape, Olive, Woodland and Chocolat Stencil Paints onto spattered backgrounds. The spattering technique is done by simply dipping a stencil brush in paint and pushing the brush tip against your finger to create a fine spatter to lightly cover the background surface. Allow to dry fully before stencilling.
