Customizing Artwork stencils

Motif offers a bespoke design and digitising service for high-end artwork and design stencil projects for companies, corporations and organisations.  This service is for such projects that require an experienced artist, such as Henny Donovan, to undertake their design and digitising artwork on a professional basis.  Quotes are given for this kind of professional artwork on request.  See hourly rates below.

Henny Donovan Motif is set up to offer designer stencils, all of which are fully illustrated throughout this website. The Design and Digitising Process

Developing stencil designs is an involved and lengthy process. The basic process is laid out below and each design needs to go through each step (1 - 7). Each stage can require several hours to complete and stage 3, the computer digitising, usually taking a lengthy period.  Size and scale of any design is also an important factor. Once the design is drawn on computer it is then converted to be cut on laser. Laser samples are then produced and once any corrections have been applied the stencil itself is produced unit by unit. Wall sized stencils have to be broken down onto several sheets to fit the size of the laser bed.

Cutting Your Own Stencil

If you need to produce a one-off design for a particular decorating project or a stencil of a particular word, you may want to consider cutting your own stencil, to get the exact look you are after. Professional Rates for Customizing Artwork Stencils

For your information customizing stencils is charged at the following basic rates:

1. Design, drawing and stencillizing design £60 UK pounds per hour
2. Scanning, computerised block fill of designs £60.00 UK pounds per hour
3. Computer digitising point by point £60 UK pounds per hour
4. Conversion to laser £60.00 UK pounds per hour
5. Cutting of samples £60.00 UK pounds per hour
6. Corrections to designs £60.00 UK pounds per hour
7. Individual unit cost for each design, price dependant on size and intricacy

Terms & Conditions of this service

*Quotes for customizing stencil designs are only given on receipt of specific artwork that needs to be developed as a stencil design.
*Payment for this service is by direct bank transfer, or online bank payment or by cheques for UK customers. This service is not available to order through the Motif website or for payment by credit/debit card
*Design work is only undertaken on receipt of payment.
*The bespoke service takes a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks, depending on intricacy/scale of design and on other company commitments.
