Ceramic Outliners
Ceramic Outliners - available in Ming Blue and Pewter - can be used to add relief detail to ceramic surfaces such as tiles and crockery. The slim tube with pointed nozzle, allows you to draw directly onto the surface being decorated. Use for freehand drawing (or tracing over feltpen outlines), or to build up areas of raised colour, or to add relief detail to tiles already decorated with Ceramic Paints. Note: to make this finish permanent the decorated object/tile must be baked in a domestic oven. Also see Ceramic Paints.
Technique for tile illustration above: Ensure tile is clean; stencil design with water-based Stencil Paint (the design used in the illustration is our Toile Seated Couple Motif Stencil); then trace over the outlines of the stencil with the Ceramic Outliner; allow to dry and then bake; finally wash off the stencil paint to reveal the clear outlines.

Every effort has been made to represent our Ceramic Paint colours accurately - however photographic reproduction and different browser colour variants mean that these colour swatches are only an approximate guide. Colour charts are not currently available.
