Introducing the Small Buttercup Theme Pack Stencil - a simple, modern design based on everyone's childhood favourite - the buttercup.
Henny Donovan has developed a contemporary design of this well-known flower that is extremely versatile and can be stenclled as a single flower or in groups or as a modern random repeat. All from one theme pack.
This Small Buttercup Theme Pack is brilliant for creating beautiful random wallpaper effects on walls, feature panels, and repeated on fabrics and bedlinen, cushion covers and much more.
The Small Buttercup Theme Pack comes in five separate sections/sheets to allow you to arrange and design the buttercup flowers as you choose. The buttercup flowers can be used with the stalk motifs to create upright, growing flowers in a host of different arrangements. The flowers and stalks can be placed so that the buttercup appears as a single flower or in a row; or the different flower heads can be grouped with the stalks together to create the look of flower 'bunches' - see our different examples to the right for ideas.
Alternatively you can use the buttercup flowers on their own as a randomly repeated motif, to create contemporary wallpaper effects or repeated designs on fabrics. When repeating the flower motif you can space the flowers further apart for a simple effect or closer together for a concentrated pattern look. You can also alter the pattern order to keep the effect random and irregular, or repeat in the same order for a consistent pattern repeat.
This design works well stencilled in multi-coloured and single colour palettes on white walls, or in white or pale colours on coloured painted walls. The design also looks great stencilled in Metallic Stencil Paints.
Stencil Rollers make stencilling this stencil even easier, particularly if you are stencilling white onto deeper base colours - the roller will help to build opacity.
The Small Buttercup Theme Pack can be used in conjunction with the Large Buttercup Stencil - an oversize version of this design.

The larger buttercup flower motifs are 17cm (6 3/4") and 16cm (6 1/4") wide.
The medium flower motif is 11.5cm (4 1/2") wide.
The smallest flower motif is 7.5cm (3") wide.
The 2 half-flowers are up to 7.5cm (3") tall.
The grass-stalks are 9cm (3 1/2") high.
The three shorter flower stalks are up to 15cm (5 3/4") high.
The taller flower stalk is 21cm (8 1/4") high.
